Alternate power for BSII

Has anyone used a power-all or a onespot for their Bass Sation 2?   I want to minimize my cables and having the bass station hooked up to a power chain would be awesome, but i am scared ill fry my synth.  I have a moog pedal and it works in the chain it just needs a special adapter, wondering if the BSII is the same.

haven´t tried a powerbank, but the BS2 works just fine with (any!) USB power... I´ve even been operating it mobile (!!!) with an Anker USB battery charger pack... :D

Hello,

Yesterday I connected the BSII to a portable speaker, the JBL Charge 2+.

It also has a USB port which can supply power to devices which can be powered by USB.

I tried it out and realized that it took about 2 seconds until the BSII started.

(Longer than usual.)

Then I thought it was ok, but while playing it happened several times that some functions got activated by themselves.

The tones started to sound distorted and crazy...

The JBL Charge 2+ supplies up to 2A via USB.

My question:

Was the power probably too little or too much?

I guess too little...

So I think I'll get some powerbank too.

Anker PowerCore 20100mAh

- up to 2.4A per port or 4.8A at all. Input: 5V / 2A.

What do you think?
