Sequencer and different time signatures

Hi all,

I am a bass player whose first owned synth is bass station so please assume no knowledge from me on synths in any answer.

I bought bass station II for its arpeggiator and step sequncer functions (I know, what a surprise..) and I am wondering if I can make it expect and play different time signatures.

For example, if I record 7 steps (having in mind to play a 7/8 tune) what it currently does when I play it is to play my recorded bit 4 times and then 4 eighths of the 5th bar and start over (4*7 = 28, +4 =32). Is there a way to overcome this??

Thank you very much.

I don't own a Bass Station, so I'm not entirely sure, but looking at the manual I think you have to turn off the "Seq Retrig" parameter (On-Key function, upper G).
