Can I dumb it down?

I'd like to use the Launchkey with a variety of hosts, and just want to hard-assign knobs etc. to specific controller numbers, and have that be the same no matter what I'm running.

I don't want it to reconfigure or automatically set up for VI's etc.

Easy to do?

Hi, You will not be able to assign any of the controls via automap because in control is hardware based. Unlike automap controllers , where parameters are able to be assigned via the automap software.

Actually what I asked has nothing to do with Automap or InControl.  What I asked was, can I just assign faders to specific controllers (CC7, CC11 etc) without the controller trying to conform to the host via InControl?  So I set up a preset on the keyboards and then launch ProTools or Logic or Cubase and the keyboard doesn't change regardless of what VI is present or what host is active.  Is _that_ possible?
