MIDI Cable

Hi Folks,

I've recently purchased my first Midi keyboard (the Launchkey 25) hoping to use it with my iPad 3(30 pin connector)  Prior to that I'd also purchased the Behringer iStudio which I'd like to continue using.

The issue I have is the cable connections.  I don't want, if I don't have to, purchase the Apple Camera Connector kit as I can't use the iStudio with that.

The Launchkey uses a USB-B to USB-A, while the Behringer utilises standard MIDI female or, potentially, a USB-B input.  I can't seem to find USB-B to MIDI anywhere - do they exist?

i've tried using a USB-A to USB-B converter but to no avail, and I'm wondering if that's down to power requirements.  Would a separate power supply for the keyboard help?  Would a USB-B to USB-B get around the problem?

Ideally, the perfect solution would be USB-B to MIDI cable, but any suggestions would be welcome.

Please help :)

Thanks,

Jes
