Step by Step Launchkey and Ableton live tutorial

Hello, guys!!! need help.
Is there a site that show me Step by Step on how to use launchkey 49 on ableton live lite 9
Don't seem to register (record) notes. Seem to miss a button or activate the wrong buttons. Do my best to read up and watch all tutorial videos available but.....
Sorry being a slow learner.

You need to record arm the tracks that you wish to record into.... Could that be your problem?

Also, does the midi light in Ableton flash when you press a key on the keyboard? (Top right of screen) - if it doesn't then your ableton settings are incorrect, you need to enable the midi in ports of your launchkey.

Oh mate, i wish i had time - but i really haven't - there's loads of resources out there to help you tho?

The basics go like this:

1. Make sure ableton has the Launchkey set as a midi input device:

i.e.:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DiRPuLlgIwc  (watch up to 0.55 seconds on that vid - that's the basic setup you need to get running).

2 - Then bring in an ableton device/plugin on a MIDI track.

3 - Record enable that track  (  [R] button ).

Play on your keys, and it should play the device you put on that track.

If you get stuck, let me know where you get stuck and i'll try to be more helpful, i can help you in little chunks. ;)
