Using Launchkey and separate USB audio interface simulatenously

I'm thinking of buying a LaunchKey for use with Cubase 5 on PC.

I use a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 - a USB audio interface (with a MIDI input but no USB inputs).

I understand that he LaunchKeys don't have a MIDI out - just USB.

My question is - can I use a LaunchKey (or other USB MIDI controller for that matter) at the same time as my USB audio interface? And if so, is it likely to cause any headaches, e.g. toggling settings in Cubase? Or will the two things 'just work' together without any problems?

Thanks!

It's fine mate, I'm usually running an audio interface, 3x USB midi keyboards and a launchpad going thro USB.  Just make sure have drivers installed first (if required) and cubase will detect easy.

If possible make sure the audio interface is going straight into the USB ports on your computer (I.e. Not via a hub), as this will be requiring the most amount of data throughput for itself, other than that just be wary of what else is plugged in via USB and that your computer can provide them all with enough power over USB
