LaunchPad MINI in CuBase

I'm running CuBase 5 (Windows 7) and bought a LaunchPad Mini to replace my Behringer BCF2000 for lack of space.

From what I have seen of the product  I really like the concept.

However setting the unit up as a Mackie HUI, I assumed the protocol would automatically be loaded, and all I would need to do was figure out what did what.

I am perhaps a little niaeve as nothing worked - so I installed AutoMap and at least the lights went on, but nothing makes sense.

There is no template for CuBase and LaunchPad Mini in AutoMap.

Any ideas how I can get this to work?

Hi nimaccess,

The Launchpad Mini was designed to integrate with Ableton, so many of the device's functions will not cross over to Cubase. However, the device is still a MIDI controller and, if you are looking to implement the Launchpad Mini, you would need to manually assign controls to functions in Cubase.
