Mininova Pitch wheel problem

Hi Guys, first post here so be gentle...lol

Just got the fab Mininova, and loving what it does.

I have come across a problem, when using Vocoder and some normal sounds,

when I move the Pitch wheel to express one's self ( Ooer !! ) and then it goes back

to its middle position, the sound that I am playing at that time, goes out of tune by

a 1 or 2 semitones, which is rather annoying when you are performing live.

Only by turning it off and then on again it sets it back to the right value.

I have updated to 1.4b , but it still does it.

This is on stock sounds and not any modified sounds by me.

Any solutions ???  Or update in the making !!

Great site btw.

Rgds

1.4b is a beta firmware, and it has big issues (one of them is that pitch drift), i suggest you to download the latest stable firmware release from here http://global.novationmusic.com/support/product-downloads?product=MiniNo...

Thanks for your reply.

Tried going back to 1.4, but found same problem.

It was only when I took it back to 1.3 that the problem had gone, So 1.3 it is

until further fixes.

Cheers

That's a shame, as 1.4 has only just came out and i presumed it would have fixed the pitch drift as when filo raised the issue it was implied that it was being looked at, oh well, i'll probably just stay on the beta as it looks identical based on the change log.   I don't really suffer from it a great deal i'll be honest but i've noticed it a few times.

There's a new beta out which addresses this issue.

Thanks for raising it. Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks a lot Novation :)

Cheers,

OS 1165 sorted my pitchwheel problem :)

Didn't fancy having to edit the pitchwheel range to 0 for every patch i use.

Thanks
