any chance the twitch will be made to function again?

I just purchased a twitch, after 2 weeks of debating getting that or a native instruments controller.

I am OS x 10.85, not mavrick.

I've talked to 11 other twitch owners who all have the same problem. The usb drivers do not work, no lights, computer doesn't recognize that it's plugged in. I've tried all the silly "fixes" like trying a different usb cord, reinstall the drivers 20 times. It's definitely not a hardware issue because i've gotten it to work twice through a work around I read on the forums. Plug the twitch into a pc, install drivers, then unplug and back into the macbook. it worked twice, now it doesn't correct the problem anymore.

It's as if something about the driver only works once when it's installed and get's all messed up as soon as you turn the computer off or unplug the twitch and they won't work again.

I'm really kicking myself for buying a novation controller instead of a native instruments controller, if I had gone that way I would know beyond andy doubt that it would work, regardless of if it's an older model since they keep their drivers updated and working. I recognize the twitch is no longer produced so it's probably not going to be a priority at all to make sure the usb drivers actually work, but I really don't want to have thrown $300 in the garbage by buying it.

This is a very common problem, a very obvious problem that many have reported but continues to be ignored. I'm really disappointed and wish I had bought the native instruments controller instead.

I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed with your purchase. Is there anything I can do to help?

In terms of your Twitch issues, have you been in touch with tech support?  I personally have not heard of any non-Mavericks-related Twitch issues in a while - where are these 11 Twitch owners? Have they been in touch with our tech team?

I have contacted tech support and haven't heard back. They're on the serato forums, which could be part of the problem that everyone goes there to complain about the issues instead of here.

Can I get your case number from you, please? I'm sure tech will get to you as soon as they possibly can, but I'll have an extra look and see what they say.

Hi,

Looks like I'm #12.  I'm having the same issue. It was working for the past year but then I stopped using it for 3 months. I turn on my laptop (which is only used for the Twitch), then I get this error message that it is unable to install drivers. I also notice the lights no longer light up when I first plug it in.  I have tried these steps with no success:

* Install on a newly imaged Win 7 with the latest driver

* Install on a  Mac

* Install on a spare laptop, Win7

* Upgrade Win 7 to that latest Microsoft Updates.

It seems like it is dead, no lights are showing up.

I tried to open a support ticket but the website keeps saying that the site is down and try again. Been trying all day to open a case.

Dam, I like this unit but now I'm dead in the waters for any upcoming parties. What should I do next?
