I think the idea about higher lfo speeds is really great. I have often found myself wanting to speed up an lfo "that extra bit" more, only to be dissapointed...

Another thing which I seriously think should be fixed is when using both filters the audio sometimes gets distorted - and not in a good way either..
And yes, I did turn off the filterdrive.

Some extra idea's - I would love to:

Be able to set a max and min for the tweak knobs. Add an extra page for this, and there you are!

Be able to use the arpeggios latch button as a hold button - easy enough I would think?

Be able to pan the oscillators - would be really handy. On my micron I like to affect the pan via keytracking - something i really miss on the UN..
Would be great for a lot of sounds I feel.

I really hope to see further support for the UN, as it is my go to synth for.. Everything really.

Keep making awesome stuff Novation! :)

The lack of Osc pan spread is driving me nuts.
is sounds very mono-ish if i compare it to other synths

you can get way fatter and ritcher sounding sounds if it had one.

i hope to see this option in the future just like many other ultranova and miniNova users

kind regards

I just thought it might be cool if the Automap on my UltraNova could control the 8 channels of my Focusrite Saffire Pro 40. Perhaps it would only take a few changes to MixControl?  I like all the suggestions I have read here, a Standalone editor should be achievable? Seriously loving the UltraNova.  It is my favourite synth at the moment. It is working great in my setup now and is doing great as my master keyboard in Reaper now.  Thanks for a great instrument....

Being able to change temperaments would be a very neat feature, IMO. I've seen several soft (and hard - e.g. Korg Wavestation, IIRC) synths with this capability.

More than one Tweak page
Modifier for knob twist to bring paramter to highest, lowest or middle depending on parameter.
Amp Env Release as mod destination
Disable patch speed dial
Have Value +/- buttons work on patch parameters
tap tempo
A way to show all original patch paramter value Compare button does this!

Touch knob lock/toggle on & off with 1 touch

All parameters available on tweak pages

Definitely multi-timbrality (even if just split keyboard)

Arpeggiator editing like the gator effect

Swing level on the arpeggiator

Granular synthesis and/or user wavetables

It would be cool to be able to use the Oscillators as modulation source for the filter fc like on an Arp 2600.

I second the previous suggestion to display time based parameters in a format that is more meaningful than 1-127.

I would love to be able to add or edit the sequences in the LFO table.  Even some more detailed documetation of these parameters would be great.

Similarly more information about the wavetables would be helpful. I assume these waveforms have some kind of source and more meaningful names would be helpful.

I know it has been asked multiple times but being able to add waves and user wavetables would be sweet.

It seems that the envelopes interact with each other in an odd way with the current firmware.  For example, env3 assigned to oscilator 1 level seems to affect all three oscilators. Not sure if that is a bug or if I am still getting used to the synth.

I was under the impression that the Ultranova would have similar capabilities to the X-station such as templates for stand alone control of other hardware synths. That dos not seem to be the case and would be a fantasitic feature.

I know everyone wants the synth to be multitimberal.  It would seem like adding keyboard splits as a modulation source would allow for at least a limited form of multi timberal capablity.

Here is one that would seem easy to implement.  New USER defined categories or seperate fields for song names etc. for the librarian would make navigation totaly customizable.

Don't bother lads. It's been 2 years now that they've been "taking down notes", but nothing else happened. We get it, what kind of company you are :D One thing is for sure, you just lost one customer :) Ultranova is going for sale... One can get Moog Minitaur for that price... Happy New Year! -Angry Customer

I guess I am optomistically anticipating that their next product may be built on the ultranova engine and trigger an update.  Despite its limitations, the Ultra is a good synth.
