Windows 10 BSOD

Been getting regular Blue Screen crashes since installing Windows 10. Happens when I turn off the Ultranova which is connected directly to USB port on the PC. Most recent Novation drivers are installed (v2.6)

Windows Minidump is reporting BAD_POOL_HEADER involving HIDCLASS.SYS and ntoskrnl.exe

Has anyone else experienced this or know what the problem could be?

Thanks

Justin

I'm getting issues with the 2.6 driver and my X-Station. Got the Blue screen once, reinstalled the drivers but Windows 10 reports that the latest driver is not working properly. Contact support, they are looking into my issue and the more people that report the better.

Just an update, I solved my issue by doing a re-intsall of Windows 10(not full one just the one that keeps personal files intact).

The ASIO driver is behaving itself but there is still one issue with the driver reporting that it's not fully installed.

Interesting. Thanks for your update. I'm a bit hesitant to re-install in case it screws something else up.

Another problem I've noticed is that when using the Novation ASIO driver through the Ultranova in Ableton, it will eventually stop outputting. The only fix is to revert back to MME/DirectX and then back to Novation again.

Also, I can't get good sound working with Novation drivers in Ableton and Windows at the same time. When I get it working distortion-free in ABleton, the audio in Windows is muddy. When I lower the samples in Novation driver settings, I get cleaner audio in Windows but scratchy sound in Ableton. It's one or the other. Don't know if this is a limitation of my PC hardware or a fault with the driver. Doesn't seem to be a problem with the MME/Direct X driver, but ofcourse the latency isn't as good with that. :(

I've emailed support and trying to get some answers/solutions.
