V-Station 2.x Asks for Authorization Constantly

V-Station 2.x Asks for Authorization Constantly

This is twice now that the V-Station (2.2) has asked to be authorized when I launch it from my DAW's (Logic 9.1.8 and Live 9)

The first time was two days after I initially regeistered it earlier this month, and after 2 emails to Tech Support, I finally downloaded a new .fnlf from the Focusrite registration page and it worked fine for about a week until I launched it today and it's asking for the .fnlf file *again*

Digging it out of backup and selecting it for the file asks me for my Admin password, and if I want to replace the old file before giving me a message that it's 'not a valid license file' 

Anyone else encountered this? It's driving me crazy...

Hi Mike,

As I noted in my initial post, I have contacted Tech Support about this twice. I have yet to receive a reply back to either of the requests.

I will send another ticket as you asked.

I have still not heard from Novation Tech Support as of today (June 4). My last ticket (as requested by mikenovation) was sent on May 31st. 

This makes three support emails sent with zero response.

I still cannot use my V- or B-Station plugins because they want to be authorized. Pointing them any of the (now 3) .fnlf licenses I have downloaded from the Focusrite website still shows 'Not a Valid License File'. 

I have deleted the Authorization folder in Application Support, Deleted the preferences and the plugin, restarted, and reinstalled and tried the authorization at least 6 times now. 

I need a solution here please.

I have sent 3 to Tech Support with no response to any of them, so I don't have a ticket number for reference. Very frustrating.

You should get a bounce-back email immediately giving you a unique case number. Something must have gone wrong, sorry for the inconvenience.

Aplogies to piggyback on your thread, but I've the exact same issue with reoccurring, lost authorizations for V-Station and the FX Suite. I've recently updated Bassstation to the currevnt V2 and authorized successfully, but I expect the problem to reoccur. I too have recently - within the past week - emailed Tech Support (again) to troubleshoot this issue, but have not yet received a reply. For the record: the problem has occurred on both OS X Lion and Mountain Lion - at least twice - and I've exhausted by existing authorizations. I'm more than happy to assistance in trouble shooting with Tech Support to put this issue to bed once and for all.

I was wondering if I was the only one having this issue, so I created an account to Novation forum (by the way: hi all!): I have downloaded almost four new licences and, the day after, they stop working. How does the licence recognition with V-Station and B-Station work?

I have had the same issue on mac os x mavericks.  Finally got it working by launching the au / daw app as Root and then activating.

it is nice to have it working!

I have the same issue since my upgrade to ableton live 9 with both V-Station and B-Station.  I activated them about five times.

 

Just wrote to Support for assistance.

Please try to start the DAW in 64bit mode.(Do not 32bit mode!)
