Drum Synth

This is partially inspired by Novation's KS rack. It has a Drum Synth section with an OSC  that has dedicated drum waves.

Also think Waldorf Attack, while 24 part multitimbral is nice it is also maybe unnecessarily too much, considering the lack of interface and poor MIDI controls.

Korg's ER-1. Cool interface, poor sounds.

So my Dream Product is a Drum Synth Machine.

Details?

Most important too me is gear that interacts with other gear in the studio. While most MIDI drum machines can control other synths

, few have a dedicated sequencer track for an internal pattern to control external gear.

I was thinking 6-8 parts. Maybe 4 analog parts and 1-2 digital parts that could have a different patch per step.

Individual outs, and modest effects section or stereo out with a monster effects.

A DrumStation (rack mount) with a sequencer and the KSR's drum section.

Also,

I have pretty much all Novations's rack gear( Bass station, super bass, supernova , drum station, A-station ...) and I've thought it would be cool to have a single rack, knob laden, dedicated multi track sequencer that matched the aesthetic of the old Skool racks.

I would like very much to see a new & affordable drum synthesizer with 16 step sequencer. It doesn't have to be overly comprehensive either.

Even a re-issue of the drum station with added step buttons. Seems to be a shortage of this kind of product nowdays.

I know that Korg are issuing the Volca beats but it's not a major player really & i would much rather have something more pro.

A good, bare bones analogue drum machine at a sensible price. Tons of people would like one, there's a gap in the market.

I would love one myself, much more fun messing about with a piece of hardwear than a mouse, with the added bonus of hardwear having a decent resale value.

Hi guys,

Although, not exactly what was described in the initial post, it is definitely worth checking out the Circuit as it is a 4 part drum machine and 2 part synthesizer. Here is the main page explaining the device further:

In the meantime, I will also forward over the request to our development team for what was initially described.
